About the author

Jenny Milson grew up on a sheep and cattle property and has lived and worked predominantly in western Queensland. She has a degree in Applied Science (Plant Biology) and joined Queensland Department of Primary Industries in Longreach in 1988. She has travelled extensively doing research and extension work throughout the western regions of Queensland where she gained an in-depth knowledge of the region’s flora. Jenny aims to assist land managers to apply a good mix of practical and theoretical principles that relate plant identification to sustainable land management and productivity.
