Garden plants under the spotlight

People perceive weeds in different ways. A plant that is a garden favourite to one person can be a serious weed of natural ecosystems to another. Garden plants that jump the back fence and become weeds of natural and farming areas are increasingly referred to as 'Garden Thugs'. These are often beautiful and hardy garden plants that sometimes show weedy tendencies in the home garden too.
